Salesforce is the world’s leading customer relationship management platform, empowering businesses to connect with their customers through innovative technology. At Salesforce, Sarah Froelich created content on the Trailhead platform, a platform with an audience of millions of learners worldwide, specializing primarily in content for Salesforce employees and partners. She went on to lead a team of experts in editorial, branded learning, and accessibility, ensuring high-quality, inclusive training for global audiences.
Explore some descriptions of Sarah's work at Salesforce, showcasing content design, accessibility initiatives, and innovative ideas crafted to support global learning design teams. Note that these are just a few of the many stories Sarah can share about her Salesforce work.
Trailhead for Enablement
Sarah began her career at Salesforce as a Trailhead writer, then became an editor, and continued to train writers and learning designers to create impactful content for Trailhead. The process included writing content, proposing and working with designers and video producers to create visual and interactive elements, and creating assessments to confirm learner engagement, collectively meeting the high-quality Trailhead standards.
Over the course of her earlier years at Salesforce, Sarah worked with a team of writers, editors, and designers to create hundreds of Trailhead modules about topics like objection handling, partner strategy, customer-centric discovery, account planning, the Salesforce corporate message, and more. A publicly-available example of Sarah’s work can be found in the Journey Mapping module.
Curriculum for Global Audiences
As part of an effort to enhance inclusive design and accessibility in learning content, Sarah led the creation of training materials to prepare learning designers to create content for global audiences. She launched the initiative with a presentation on the importance of creating content that's accessible and inclusive for learners worldwide.
This work included leading the development of coursework, guidelines, checklists, and processes for creating accessible enablement content and establishing the role of an accessibility specialist on the team. These materials equipped designers with practical skills for creating content suitable for localization and diverse audiences. This initiative set a new standard for accessible and inclusive content creation within the team.
Global Enablement Support
Sarah supported writers, editors, designers, video producers, and vendors by creating and maintaining a detailed Global Enablement style guide, incorporating brand, accessibility, and product guidelines. She developed editorial checklists, job architecture, and a communications plan to keep teams informed and emphasize editorial value.
Managing hundreds of editorial requests annually, Sarah and her team provided reviews for developmental, copy, brand, and accessibility needs. She facilitated workshops, created working agreements and a V2MOM, led cross-team initiatives, and designed a resource center. Her efforts streamlined processes, improved collaboration, and enhanced creativity and consistency across enablement projects.
Innovative Project Planning
As part of the drive to innovate with artificial intelligence (AI), Sarah led a strategic project designed to test the integration of AI in streamlining editorial processes.
The goals of this initiative were to improve workflow efficiency while upholding content quality. The pilot involved comparing traditional and AI-assisted editorial reviews, gathering team feedback, and assessing time savings and quality improvements. This project exemplified innovative approaches to editorial management, showcasing the potential for AI-driven solutions in content production for learners.

Dansk Designs a legacy of innovative dining & entertaining
While earning her MFA in Design Criticism from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Sarah wrote her master’s thesis, DANSK DESIGNS: Reinventing the American Tabletop, 1954–1985. Her research explored the history, design language, and cultural impact of the iconic brand, resulting in a 102-page scholarly document, a conceptual progressive dinner party, and a presentation at the inaugural 2010 DxCrit Conference. For more of the story, check out the video of Sarah's conference presentation, Mad About Dansk.
Building on this expertise, Sarah’s article “Set for Transition: Dansk Designs’ Fjord Flatware” was published in the Spring 2011 issue of Gastronomica: The Journal of Food and Culture. And since this story is ongoing, Sarah is currently assisting with a book about Dansk, continuing her connection with the brand’s timeless design and lasting cultural influence.
Freelance Project Highlights
Sarah has tackled diverse freelance roles, blending creativity and strategy. For Resource/Ammirati (formerly Resource), she contributed to the XLNT award-winning Bush’s Beans Taste Texter project as a writer and taste consultant. Her work included taste testing, mapping protein and bean pairings, and scripting an engaging in-aisle grocery experience. Check out a video describing the project: Bush's Beans: Taste Texter.
At the creative agency Real Art, Sarah developed a character and environment for an interactive children’s game for Dayton Children’s Asthma Care Center. She also crafted ad and brochure copy and created a headline library for Sylvan Learning Centers, showcasing her versatility in creating impactful content across industries.
Book Reviews & Exhibition Catalog Excerpts
Sarah’s expertise in design and jewelry shines through her contributions to renowned publications and exhibitions.
